An American storyteller, raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan; Dahl has always enjoyed writing and fell in love with romance novels at an early age when her mother gifted her Beverly Jenkins’s third book, Indigo. She was just fifteen years old.  Dahl's experiences living in Philadelphia, where she worked as a high school Spanish teacher, inspired her to write her debut novel, Love, Rebooted.
